WHAT DOES DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES MEAN TO YOU?

August 07, 2015

Large-scale eight by four feet graphic banners ‘pop-upped’ in Pershing Square today as part of Melendrez’ MY DTLA (www.mydtla.org) project. The illustrations show thirty-two local Downtowners - people who either live or work in Downtown Los Angeles - paired with their responses to the question, “What Does Downtown LA Mean to You?”

Fueled with answers from Downtowners of all sorts, the MY DTLA project puts a human face on the ever-evolving Downtown LA, continuing the conversation on the past, present and future of Downtown.

The banners will first be showcased in Pershing Square on construction-related and events-related fences until those need to come down, with a new home for the banners TBD. If you would like to host the banners, contact us!
